Terrible terrible terrible communication until it’s time to get their check. Then they call literally every single day to see if the insurance check is received. They also promise services that can’t even get done and lie about the reasoning. I had to hound them to schedule my roof because the guy FORGOT to finish the paperwork. Then he lied and said he did and it was the office. And don’t expect any promised follow ups unless you call. They will not call you back. They will just keep apologizing when you call back and complain . I do not recommend!!

Some of it was kind of weird communication about some payments and stuff like that. Room for improvement. There was also miscommunication about removing gutter guards —-but what’s important is that they righted and errors promptly upon request and they did an awesome job overall. So I would use them again and I would still recommend them to people. You should use them. They do really good work from what I can tell.

Viking installed a new roof in the fall of 2022 after about 6 months of back and forth. The install crew showed up an unannounced day late, and the team proceeded to leave a pile of garbage on the front lawn for over a month until persistent begging finally resulted in a reluctant pickup.
20 months later we have a clearly identified water leak in the roof. Viking sent a crew to fix (under warranty) and was not surprisingly unable to find the issue, whereas 12 hours earlier a reputable area roofer quickly identified the source of leakage (poor workmanship around a vent) and quickly provided a plan to address.
Overall we received terrible communication after the “sale”, poor workmanship and general disappointment in a $20K project. Classic storm chaser that provides great upfront sales material, poor workmanship and trash communication.

These people are nothing but spammers. They'd rather harass people who don't wan their services or even need their services than take care of the customers. So when you pay them, you're not getting what you pay for. You're basically paying their phone bill so they can relentlessly spam the same people over and over again. They're not even competent enough to know when someone doesn't want their sham services.

Terrible company, not to be trusted!! DO NOT USE THEM OR SCHEDULE THEM!! Contacting people at 7 in the morning, unsolicited, then when asked to remove the information and do not make contact, harasses them further. Any company willing to do such unscrupulous behavior is not a company you ever want to have around. They are NOT local either. ALSO: BEWARE - the majority of 5 star reviews for this company are fake. They purchased reviews on both Google and Facebook. When you run software to remove the false reviews this company has a 1.2 star rating, that tells you all you need to know. Fraudulent behavior, there are plenty of local businesses that do a much better job, who are honest and treat people better.

Where do I begin? The guy that showed up to look at my roof couldn't speak English, he was in a rusty pickup truck with Florida license plates. They were working on my neighbor's roof and left it half finished and never returned to do the work. The local news station ran a story on these guys and they are frauds and thieves, I think out of Minnesota. Better to use someone who is local. Don't go with this company, Nebraskans deserve better.

What an awful experience. They lied to us from the start. They contracted the work out from some company in Texas, and then harasses us and said that people in Nebraska are stupid. Will never ever use this company, if you are in Nebraska use a local company and not these terrible people.

Scammers - Beware of this company! As a New Yorker, I’ve been receiving phone calls from this company for over 10 years. I have asked them on numerous to remove me from their data base and they still call daily, multiple times a day. I have never lived in Minnesota yet they continue to call me. I am going to explore any legal options. Enough is enough!

Where do I start? We were solicited to work with this company on a new roof. We signed a contract with them in August 2022. The work was completed with a few hiccups (they never came to pick up nails, we had to call multiple times to get them to come pick up their left over materials, the project manager never checked in with us upon the completion of the job, they broke a gutter). They didn't follow up to get the final payment from us for over a year. When we made the agreed upon final payment they came back with an additional payment request for thousands more dollars for additional work they claimed they did. However, when we submitted this request to our insurance underwriter, they were unable to prove they had done this additional work on the roof. They submitted photos to our insurance agency, some of which were of our home, but the photos that were supposed to prove the additional work were not of our home. They submitted photos of a house that looked similar to ours but clearly was not. The additional claim was denied by our insurance company. After fighting with them for months they sent us a letter threatening to sue us. Our insurance underwriter was happy to pay for the work done on our house, but not work that they couldn't prove was done, and for which they were submitted fraudulent photos. You should definitely not work with Viking Contractors.

Viking Contractors visited my home for a roof evaluation. After a thorough inspection, they concluded my shingles were still in good condition. Mike Hill, the contractor, said "he would love to earn my business today, but in my opinion you don't need our services yet...your roof looks pretty good". He also shared why he loves doing what he is doing and what is work experience had been. That level of integrity and professionalism from a company not even doing work for me says a lot. When it is time to repair the roof, I won't even be shopping for other bids or contractors. I'll use Viking.

We had a leak in our roof during a recent storm. Viking came out for a free inspection, confirmed our roof is in great shape but found the point of leaking and sealed it up on the spot for free. I'm highly satisfied with the professionalism of their team, both the contractor and who I spoke with on the phone to setup the appointment. I'd go to them next time in a heartbeat.

We met with project manager Luis who was very professional and polite. He educated us on the process, helped loop in our insurance, and was quick to respond anytime I have any questions.
The roofers were very skilled and you can tell they have a lot of experience. They also kept up great communication. Finished project looks amazing. They were in and out in four days without any damage to the surrounding area.
We will be quick to go back to them and would refer them to any friends or family.

I found this company through their website and decided to hire them to replace my roof. The company was quick to respond to my request and they were very easy to deal with. The work that Viking Contractors did to remedy a number of issues on my roof in various locations was great. Two years ago, they located and repaired a flashing issue on the back of my roof, and I recently had them out to address a leak in the front. Both times, they fixed the issue quickly and thoroughly after doing a comprehensive inspection. I heartily endorse them and will surely contact them again if necessary.

Viking replaced our 25-year-old shingle roof and metal gutters after storm and wind damage. They clearly explained every step along the way, and worked directly with our insurance company to ensure their work was covered. These guys are the "Good Guys" of roofing, down to earth, friendly, funny, and really go out of their way to help people. During some other renovations to our home, we were told that there was existing roof damage that needed to be fixed. With the expenses of everything else, we couldn't afford a new roof at this time. I explained this to Viking Contractors company when they came out for an estimate, and I feel like they really understood our situation. There wasn't any high pressure sales tactics, they told us what needed to be fixed, and gave us a reasonable estimate.

Luis was a very prompt and responsive rep. Went through the whole process and answered all questions we had. Entire process couldn't have been smoother.
Besides using quality shingles all the associated parts like underlayment, ridge cap, vents, etc etc were all quality and name brand. There was no cutting corners.
The crew showed up on time and did a great job covering and protecting all of our landscaping that needed protection. They were a very hard working crew and stayed late until it was done (not at our request, just their process). They did an amazing job cleaning up everything. Seriously our yard and patio is cleaner then when they started.
No complaints or concerns with the business or installation inside of Viking. Highly recommended.

Viking contractors went above and beyond helping me recover and repair the loss to my roof from a hail storm. There was a tight timeliness my insurance was demanding but they made it happen for me! It seemed unbelievable that it was all filed and finished within such a short efficient timing! Great working with every member of the team thank you Viking Contractors!
